How the compatibility quiz works
Answer for yourself
Each screen shows a statement from everyday life: dishes, weekends, arguments, moving. Mark how true it is for you, from “not me at all” to “that's so me.” There are no right answers.
See your profile
After the twenty-fourth answer, you get a result across four areas: what matters to you and what's worth talking about with your person. No sign-up needed.
Invite your person
One link for one person. You won't have to answer again. Your answers are already counted.
Compare
Once you've both answered, you'll see where you match, where you differ, and a couple of questions worth talking about.
The four areas of the quiz
This couples quiz isn't about star signs or an “ideal type.” It's about the habits and expectations that make up everyday life together.
Home & money
A system for chores or “whenever,” saving or spending, talking through purchases or not. This is where couples surprise each other most.
Downtime & people
A weekend on the road or on the couch, a big group or an evening for two. You both need rest. It just looks different.
Closeness & care
How many texts and hugs you need, whether you talk right away or cool off first, and how you show care: in words or by doing.
Plans & values
Stability or change, plans for years or deciding as you go, big questions settled early or “we'll see.”
What your result shows
Your own result is a profile across four areas. In each one you land in one of three bands. For home, that's “Plan first,” “Part plan, part flow,” or “Go with the flow.” None is better than another. It's just how you like to live.
Each area comes with two short notes: what matters to you and what's worth talking about. You can share your result as a card. It shows only the band names, never your answers.
What you'll see as a couple
The comparison shows the areas where you answered alike and where you answered differently. It adds one or two questions where your answers were furthest apart. We don't show who answered what. That part is yours to tell each other.
There's no overall score for the two of you, and that's on purpose. Different answers don't mean you're a bad match. They show what's worth agreeing on. Under the area where you differ most, you'll find three games that make the conversation easier to start.
Questions about the quiz
- Is the compatibility test free?
- Yes. All of it is free: the quiz, your result, and the comparison. No sign-up and no email.
- Can I take it on my own?
- Yes. On your own, you get your profile across four areas. The comparison appears once a second person takes the quiz through your link.
- Will my partner see my answers?
- No. Until they finish, they only see that you've answered everything. After that, you both see the areas where you match or differ and the questions worth talking about. The answers themselves stay with each of you.
- Is this a psychological test?
- No. It isn't a diagnosis or a prediction for your relationship. It's a quick way to notice where you're alike and what's worth agreeing on.
- How long is my result kept?
- Your own result stays in your browser for 30 days. The game you create to compare is kept the same way as other games on the site.
